Robert Brill

LCSW, MDiv Consultant and Lead Clinical Social Worker Supervisor

Robert Brill has served as a consultant with The Morton Center since 1997, leading recovery groups, providing individual therapy, and supervising our CSW staff. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst with over 30 years of experience, Robert specializes in working with Adult Children of Alcoholics in both individual and group settings.

In addition to his work with The Morton Center, Robert is a partner in private practice at Old Louisville Counseling Center and served 35 years as a U.S. Army Chaplain, where he focused on supporting families affected by addiction. He also teaches nationally for the Colorado Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, with expertise in Modern Psychoanalytic Theory, Freud’s Cases, and Object Relations.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Louisville, the Southern Seminary, and the Kentucky Psychoanalytic Institute, and is a Psychoanalytic Member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. He is deeply committed to supporting clients and families in recovery, seeking solutions that improve quality of life and foster long-term healing.
