Director of Quality & Operations

Kate Brackett serves as the Director of Quality & Operations and brings more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership and operations experience to her role. Throughout her career, she has focused on organizational strategy, operational excellence, quality improvement, and developing systems that strengthen both mission impact and organizational effectiveness.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Murray State University and her Master of Science in Social Work from University of Louisville. As a Certified Social Worker (CSW), she is committed to advancing high-quality services, supporting staff development, and creating processes that help organizations better serve their communities.

Recognized as a 2022 Forty Under 40 honoree by Louisville Business First, Kate is passionate about developing leaders, fostering positive organizational cultures, and driving meaningful, lasting change. She believes that strong systems and empowered teams are essential to achieving sustainable impact and advancing an organization’s mission.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new experiences, and staying engaged in the Louisville community.
