Faith Underwood

Therapist

Faith is a licensed art therapist and substance use counselor who brings warmth, creativity, and clinical depth to her work with individuals and families. She is passionate about helping clients explore healing through expressive therapies and person-centered care.

Originally from South Florida, Faith holds a master’s degree in Personnel and Counseling Services with a concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. She also earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, where she double-majored in Human Resources Management and Studio Art, with a minor in Psychology. Faith began her work at The Morton Center as an intern in 2024 and joined the team full-time in 2025.

She is trained in a range of expressive modalities including art therapy, sand tray, and play therapy, and integrates these techniques to support clients of all ages in processing emotions and building resilience. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals from age 5 to 90+, addressing a wide range of needs including substance use disorders, severe mental illness, developmental disabilities, and cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Faith is deeply committed to trauma-informed care and believes in the transformative power of recovery. She values diversity, equity, and inclusion and strives to create an affirming, accessible space for every client. Outside of work, Faith enjoys weightlifting, traveling, hockey, gaming, reading, soaking up the sun, and spending time with her dog, Bunny.
